Carrie Underwood Announces 'Play On' Tour Dates

Carrie Underwood is going to take Craig Morgan and Sons of Sylvia on the road for her 'Play On' traveling show next year.

Carrie Underwood is gearing up to showcase her music on latest studio album "Play On" live on a roadshow, starting March 11, 2010. The winner of "American Idol" season 4 will stay on the road until May 30.

"I am getting so excited about next year as we are currently working through all the big plans for the tour," Carrie said of the forthcoming tour. "I cannot wait to perform new music and see familiar faces across the U.S. and Canada!"

Serving as her supporting acts will be Grand Ole Opry member Craig Morgan and sibling trio Sons of Sylvia who recently performed alongside Carrie on a holiday special. At that time, they made a duet on one of the "Play On" songs, "What Can I Say".

"Play On" debuted at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 200 after making its way out across U.S. on November 3. Selling around 318,000 copies in its first week, the album scored the second-best sales week for a country release behind Rascal Flatts' "Unstoppable" with 351,000 units in April.
